The Simpsons = Coca Cola Sellouts

This is the Coca Cola commercial that aired during the Super Bowl, and I must say, I feel as though they're selling out...I really wasn't feeling none of the Super Bowl commercials. It just aint what it used to be, you know?...

This commercial aint Simpson like..

I think so too. It was a little soft and happy for me.

It wasn't just that the ad was a little soft and happy, it violated some of the most important core principles of the series. There is absolutely zero reason for a man as despicable as Mr. Burns to have any kindness shown towards. The Apu in this commercial was not the Apu we all know, he had deserted his post at the Kwik-E Mart. Who was tending the store?

Nor was Mr. Burns the Mr. Burns from the series. If Monte wanted a refreshing, cold beverage he would have Smithers (who should have been at his side) aquire it for him in some nefarious manner. Nothing about the ad made sense and disgusted me to no end. I cringed throughout the full 30 seconds.
